Sightseeing & Day Trips

Sightseeing & day trips from Salisbury

Start with Stonehenge — one of the world's great wonders, right on our doorstep — then let the day unfold at your pace. A private car, a local-expert driver and no timetable to chase: just the places you want to see, made easy.

We're lucky here in Salisbury — some of the country's best days out are on our doorstep, starting with Stonehenge just up the road. So we do sightseeing the way it should be: private, unrushed and led by a driver who actually knows the area. No coach queues, no strict timetable — just your party, a comfortable car that stays with you all day, and Boris, Gabby or one of the team to make it easy.

Stonehenge — on our doorstep

Stonehenge is the star of the show and only a short drive north of Salisbury, so it's the easiest landmark to reach. Because it's so close, it's the perfect anchor for a wider Wiltshire day — pair it with Old Sarum, the standing stones at Avebury, or a proper country-pub lunch, and we'll time it so you arrive when it suits you.

Stonehenge from Salisbury — £25 one-way in a saloon, or £35 in a multi-seater. Return trips are simply twice the one-way, and we agree your fixed price before you set off — no meter.

How close is Stonehenge to Salisbury?

How much does a day trip cost?

Can we choose our own itinerary and timings?

Absolutely. It's your day, so you choose the stops and the timings — a full day or a half day, one landmark or several. Your local-expert driver knows the area and is happy to suggest the best order and where to stop for lunch or photos.

Is it a private trip with our own driver?

Yes. It's a private hire just for your party, with the same DBS-checked, Wiltshire Council licensed driver looking after you all day. The car stays with you between stops, so there's no queuing for coaches and no rushing to a timetable.
