Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 15 August 2026.
These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which Go Travel Services Ltd ("Go Travel Services", "we", "us" or "our") provides private-hire and airport-transfer journeys. We are a family-run firm based at St Marys House, Netherhampton, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP2, owned and driven by Boris and Gabby, and licensed as a private-hire operator with Wiltshire Council. By booking a journey with us you agree to these terms, so please take a moment to read them. If anything is unclear, we are always happy to explain — call or WhatsApp us on 07880 167302, or email office@gotravelservices.co.uk.
1. Definitions
- "We", "us", "our" — Go Travel Services Ltd.
- "You", "the customer", "the passenger" — the person who makes the booking and anyone travelling under that booking.
- "Journey" — the transport service you have booked with us, whether one-way or return.
- "Booking" — a request for a journey that we have accepted and confirmed.
- "Fixed price" — the total fare we agree with you before the journey, as described in Section 2.
- "Driver" — the licensed driver we assign to your journey, which may be Boris, Gabby or another of our vetted drivers.
- "Vehicle" — the vehicle we allocate to your journey from our fleet.
2. Quotations & Fixed Pricing
Every Go Travel Services journey is quoted at a fixed price agreed with you up front. There is no meter, no surge pricing and no hidden extras. You can obtain an instant fixed-price quote on our homepage, view our published fares on the prices page, or ask us directly.
What the fixed price includes as standard on every journey:
- A price agreed in advance — no meter, no surge, no hidden extras;
- Flight and sailing monitoring, with your pick-up adjusted to your real arrival time;
- Meet & greet with a name board;
- Complimentary bottled water;
- Free in-car Wi-Fi and phone charging;
- Child seats on request (see Section 8);
- Your driver's name, photo and vehicle details, shared with you before the day;
- Luggage assistance.
What the fixed price does not include. The fixed price covers the journey as booked — the agreed route, pick-up and drop-off points, and passenger and luggage numbers. It does not cover changes you request that materially alter the journey, such as additional stops, a change of destination, extra passengers or significantly more luggage than agreed. Where these arise, we will let you know any adjustment as clearly and promptly as we reasonably can.
Extra stops. If you would like to add a stop to your journey, please tell us when booking so we can include it in your fixed price. Additional stops requested on the day may incur a reasonable extra charge, which we will explain before proceeding wherever possible.
Waiting time and delays. For airport and cruise pick-ups, we monitor your flight or sailing and adjust your collection to your actual arrival, and we allow a reasonable period of complimentary waiting time to account for passport control, baggage reclaim and disembarkation. Where waiting extends well beyond this — for example, a long delay clearing the terminal, or a request to wait at other pick-up points — a reasonable waiting charge may apply, which we will make clear to you.
Fares beyond our fixed routes. For destinations outside our published fixed-price routes, journeys are charged at £2 per mile. We will always confirm the full fixed price with you before you book.
Additional charges. Certain unavoidable third-party costs are passed through at cost where they apply to your journey and are not part of a standard route — for example, unusual toll charges or specific parking passes required at a particular venue. We will make you aware of any such charge in advance wherever it is reasonably possible to do so.
3. Bookings & Confirmations
You can book by phone, WhatsApp or email. A booking is confirmed once we have accepted it and sent you a confirmation. We will share your driver's name, photo and vehicle details with you ahead of the journey. Please check your confirmation carefully and let us know straight away if any detail — date, time, addresses, passenger or luggage numbers, or flight details — needs correcting. We operate 24 hours a day, every day of the year, so you can always reach us.
4. Payment
Payment is due in accordance with the arrangement we confirm at the time of booking. We will make the accepted payment methods and timing clear to you when you book. Where a journey is quoted as a return, the return fare is both legs less 10%. All prices are as quoted; we do not add meter charges or surcharges after the event.
5. Cancellations, Amendments & No-Shows
We understand that plans change, and we aim to be fair and flexible.
- Cancellations. Please let us know as early as you can if you need to cancel. Cancellations made with reasonable notice will not normally incur a charge. Where a cancellation is made at very short notice — after a driver has been dispatched or is en route — a reasonable charge may apply to cover our costs.
- Amendments. We are happy to amend a booking wherever we can accommodate it. Please give us as much notice as possible so we can arrange the right vehicle and driver. Some changes may affect the fixed price, and we will confirm any difference with you first.
- No-shows. If a passenger cannot be located at the agreed pick-up point and we are unable to make contact after reasonable efforts, the journey may be treated as a no-show and a charge may apply. To avoid this, please keep your phone to hand and contact us if there is any difficulty finding your driver.
The specific notice periods and any charges that apply to your booking will be those confirmed at the time you book.
6. Passenger & Luggage Responsibilities
Please let us know the correct number of passengers and the amount and size of luggage when you book, so we can allocate a suitable vehicle. Our fleet ranges from the Skoda Superb executive saloon (up to 4 passengers, 3 large cases) and the Skoda Kodiaq family SUV (up to 4 passengers plus extra luggage and buggies), to the Volvo V90 luxury estate (up to 4 passengers, generous luggage, executive tier) and our multiseater MPV (up to 8 passengers plus luggage). If the passenger or luggage numbers on the day exceed what was booked, we may be unable to carry everyone or everything safely, and a change of vehicle or additional charge may be necessary.
Passengers are responsible for their own belongings. While our drivers will always help with luggage, please check you have all your items at the end of the journey. Seat belts must be worn where fitted, in line with the law.
7. Child Seats
We provide appropriate child seats free of charge on request. Please ask for these when booking, and tell us the age, height and weight of each child so we can supply the correct seat and fit it safely. As child seats need to be arranged in advance, we may be unable to provide one if it is only requested on the day.
8. Delays & Liability
We will use reasonable endeavours to collect you on time and to complete your journey promptly and safely. Drive times we quote are estimates only — typically around the stated duration — and can be affected by traffic, road works, weather and other conditions outside our control. Where a journey is time-sensitive, such as a flight or sailing, please allow a sensible margin, and we are glad to advise on a suitable pick-up time.
We are not liable for delays, missed connections or other losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, accidents, traffic congestion, road closures, vehicle breakdown, acts of authorities, or other circumstances amounting to force majeure. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
9. Conduct
To keep every journey safe and pleasant for passengers and drivers alike, we ask that passengers behave reasonably and courteously. Our drivers may decline to carry, or may end a journey involving, any passenger who is abusive, threatening, or whose behaviour is unsafe or unlawful. Smoking and vaping are not permitted in our vehicles. Any damage caused to a vehicle beyond fair wear and tear may be chargeable.
10. Complaints
We take great pride in our service, and if something has not met your expectations we want to put it right. Please contact us on 07880 167302 or at office@gotravelservices.co.uk, or via our contact page, and we will look into it promptly and fairly. You can read more about us on our about page.
11. Licensing & Insurance
Go Travel Services is licensed as a private-hire operator with Wiltshire Council. Our drivers are DBS-checked, fully licensed and insured, and our vehicles are insured and maintained for private hire. We operate in accordance with the requirements of our licensing authority.
12. Data Protection
We handle your personal information carefully and only as needed to arrange and deliver your journey and to keep you informed about it. For full details of how we collect, use and protect your data, and your rights, please see our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your journey, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Thank you for choosing Go Travel Services. Whether you are heading to the airport, a cruise port, a business meeting or a day out, we look forward to looking after you.
